It must have been around 2010 that I had this interesting idea. I wanted to write a book.

Before I studied law at Glasgow University. I played in a band. So, I wanted to write about the former experience whilst living in London, when I was just young. The book was called Tomorrow, Remember Yesterday. It was to become a fictional account of the band reforming to do a gig again. Then in 2018 we reformed to play The Grand Hall in Kilmarnock. Life does indeed imitate Art.

I then had a better idea. What if I could get everyone do what I did. I want everyone to share their story and write a book. You do not have to be famous or a celebrity. You just need to have a story. That story is the most important thing that has ever happened to you. Because it is you. It is your life. It is the greatest thing that you will ever do. And you will only get one chance. So lets do it.

If you are reading this. Well, then you have lived. So. Lets all hear about it. Is it possible that you could do that.   Here let me show you:

“ There is absolutely no reason why a person may not write exactly how they feel in a way that suits them. There is no reason why it should not be published and then read and understood by as many other people. It does not have to be a novel, or a memoir, or a diary or a travel book or an essay. It can just be a story – book. The writing does not have to be poetic, artistic, or woven with creative elements. It can be just simple ordinary writing full of joy, imagination and feeling. “  Jack Kerouac.  Italy 1964.
